Delete your account and data

You can ask us to delete your Hyderabad Farmhouse Rentals account and the personal data held with it. This page explains how to make that request, what gets removed, and what we are obliged to keep.

How to request deletion

If you can still sign in: open Profile → Settings and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm. The same option is available in the mobile app under Account Settings.

If you cannot sign in — for example you have uninstalled the app or lost access to your email — write to info@hyderabadfarmhouserentals.com from the email address on the account, or use our contact form. Say that you want your account deleted and include the phone number or email you booked with, so we can identify the account without asking you for anything further.

What happens next

Submitting the request records it; it does not delete the account at that moment. Your account keeps working until we process it. We aim to complete requests within 30 days of receiving them, and we will write to you at the address on the account when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address, phone numbers and date of birth.
  • Your profile photo.
  • Saved and favourited farmhouses, and your browsing history.
  • Notification settings and registered device tokens.
  • Loyalty points, referral codes and reward redemptions.
  • Support tickets and messages you have sent us.
  • Reviews you have written, or the removal of your name from them.

What we have to keep, and for how long

Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain them:

  • Booking and payment records — including invoices and transaction references — are retained for eight years from the end of the relevant financial year.
  • Card and UPI details are never held by us at all. Payments are processed by Razorpay and those details stay with them.

Retained booking records are separated from your profile so they are no longer linked to a usable account, and they are not used to contact you or for marketing.

Bookings still to come

If you have a confirmed booking with a future check-in date, we will contact you before deleting the account — deleting it would leave the farmhouse owner unable to reach you on the day. Cancellations and refunds follow the cancellation policy shown on your booking.
